What should have been a 300$ job ended up being 625$ (minus 115$ tow fee). First I broke down and got charged 115$ tow fee which is standard in NJ because police want a dispatching fee which can cost from 30 to as much as 80$. The guy got my car that night and said he was only open half day Saturday. He put the order in for my alternator which I could have got for 160$ but he didn't want me to buy it because obviously he thought I wasn't smart enough to buy the right one.
