After taking my car to a chain repair shop, they advised me I had $2700 of repairs to stop oil leaks at the timing chain cover and valve cover. I took it to Frank's for a second opinion and his approach made more sense. He found a leak with the oil pressure gauge and replaced it. Next steps are to drive it a week and then check again for further sources of oil. Cost so far is 5% of big shop. Frank is busy and the only one doing the work, so I needed to schedule a few days in advance. Well worth the wait in my opinion.
We've been taking our cars to Frank for 5 years and are delighted with his skill as a mechanic; he's always treated us properly and been honest in his opinion of what we should fix on our car. Color us happy customers.
