Look behind the curtain of Let Me Be Frank and their gourmet hot dogs to the night venue steeped in mob history, erudite quotes, red paint, and mood lighting. Wes outdid himself with personalized cocktails based on the themes in my debut thriller set in Midland. The intimate, funky speakeasy vibe and creative and delicious appetizers plus welcoming staff made my book event a celebration to remember.
This place is a total gem. We had an amazing time—everything about it felt spot-on. The food is fantastic and versatile. Since it’s a sharing-style menu, we got to try a bunch of different dishes, and every single one hit. Nothing felt one-note; there was a great mix of flavours and textures throughout the meal. My colleague and I stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a bite to eat in Midland and are so happy we did! Thank you for the excellent meals and delicious donuts afterwards! The service, food, and atmosphere is amazing. I will definitely be back.
Really really cool place. The owner was so great, he chatted with us and explained the dishes. Everything sounded so good, it was hard to pick. I went with the Roast Beef Benny. Holy cow, it's amazing. I don't live near Midland, but I'll come back just for this place.
