Do your research before going the modular route. We began our Franklin journey about 16 months ago after visiting a retailer (Country Living Modular Homes) that we found on Franklins website. We purchased land and our house was ordered in April 2025, with the promise that we would be able to move in by late July - early August 2025. laminate floors buckling after 3 years , boards broke above fire place causing TV to fall , roof shingles missing and sticking up,vinyl siding buckled.Would not recommend purchasing a Franklin home. A home owner should not have to work on a new home that's only 3 years old. UPDATE we finally had to replace the flooring in Our Franklin Home.Only 4 years and the floor was coming up where they had tried to cover up the bad first layer.
