I looked around for a while to select a general contractor for my project. The kind of project where unexpected surprises can come up easily after removing the old siding/shingles. Namely the full exterior refurbishment of an air leaky, crooked, century old log house (asphalt shingles replaced by tin, new windows, new siding + exterior insulation…). Could not be happier with our experience with FGC! The pre construction agreement gave us a clear picture of what to expect throughout the process- Ross and Laughlin helped us select our interior finishes before the project began so we could stay on schedule and budget. Would recommend to anyone and are loving our addition!
Roof Leaks!! We have a house built in 1885 with a standing seam roof of great height and steep peaks that developed several leaks. Not many roofing companies can or will deal with this type of roof but thankfully Franklin General Contracting can. They were prompt to come to view the issue when called. They gave a quote and were quick to start the repairs as there was forecasted rain. Our first experience with Franklin Contracting. We needed a TV tower removed and the facia where the tower was attached to the house repaired. One long day and the tower was down, a new section of facia installed, all trim and siding replaced and a new panel for attaching the satellite tv antenna installed. Excellent work, and a very professional job. I highly recommend Franklin Contracting. Very happy with the result.
