My family experienced a house fire in 2018. A contractor took the job to repair our house. He gave false documents to the insurance company, and disappeared aftered taking 36,000 dollars. The insurance policy he had was cancelled 3 months after taking the job, and when asked for bonding insurance he panicked and left. Out house was never repaired.
