I’ve been bringing my cats and dog here for a couple years now and I highly recommend! The staff is so kind and treat myself and my animals with the utmost respect and concern. As a quick example of how great they are - my pitbull has a strange affinity for churus (byproduct of living with cats). The staff has this noted on his sheet and give him a churu after every visit!
I have been a customer of Prospect/Crown Heights/Franklin Ave Animal Hospital for nearly 10 years, and overall I have had very few complaints. Doctors and staff are kind and helpful for the most part, they adapted well during the pandemic and have helped my pet through lots of different situations. This said, they’ve recently introduced a 3% surcharge on credit card transactions, which seems odd given these are medical purchases. My wife and I visited the crown heights animal hospital twice and both times we were given appointments here at this wonderful hospital. The last time on my birthday the crown heights site ignored my wife when she was speaking to the male receptionist. We are so grateful we were transferred here. The first time our cat Cubs was sick and the staff here was amazing! We returned for his physical and once again amazing! Nurse Christine and Docto Arrieta was great and treated Cubs to some delicious churu .
Dr Katz is so friendly and great with my cat! The office is always very efficient and kind. This was also the most affordable place for my cat's teeth cleaning while giving me confidence that she is well taken care of.
