What a disapointment. My mother went to his office because she’s been dealing with issues for months with reflux. He came into the room didn’t listen to my mother and said are you the doctor with a degree? When suggesting further checkups. Utterly disappointed with how the doctor treats patients.

Where do I start? You walk into the treatment room and a nurse practitioner asks your symptoms and starts taking notes. All good. A while later, Dr. Ruiz saunters in, looking like a model in his suit, posing for pictures that aren't being taken. He stands over by the door because god forbid he should get too close to a patient. He tells a joke or two. Still all good... you do you. He reads the notes, gives you advice for a minute and off you go. I recently brought a family member to see Dr Ruiz. During this appointment my family member was asked when was the last time they had a certain imaging procedure done. When neither they nor I could remember the exact date Dr. Ruiz raised his voice and yelled “Well come on!” out of frustration. Dr Ruiz then told my family member to get a new “Uber driver” referring to me. This behavior was extremely unprofessional and rude, even if the intention was for it to be meant as a joke.
