We went on a weekend day for a late lunch. No crowd amd we sat at a table (vs take away). The pizza is great amd lives up to the hype.
Not a great pizza, extremely oily, definitely not something I would cal a Napoleona pizza
Yes, the pizzas are crisper (alright, slightly burnt) at the edges but they tell you about that at the beginning! Regardless I enjoyed our calabrese and tomato pie pizzas we ordered. The service (Grazie Marianna!) was friendly and attentive--definitely a highlight. You get a lot of salad for price, too. A small pizza is definitely enough for 1 and might serve 2 (with a salad). We took our son for a graduation family dinner here.
I was looking for a refreshing but slightly indulgent lunch after volunteer ushering for a large event all morning. This place hit the spot. One of the best pizzas I have had in many years. The crust is not overly crisp, with slight charring adding to the flavor. The volume of pepperonis is delightful. They came out with that lovely curved “bowl” shape. Very tasty pizza. Thin crust, with slices on the smaller side. I ate around 6 slices from a small pizza without any problem. My group got the white clam, margherita, and amanti Della carne. The Della carne was amazing. The other two were solid.
