Definitely an interesting experience… we picked up and the pizza was burnt to a crisp, and not in a coal-fired delicious way. More like it was left in the oven at 700 degrees for half an hour. They refunded us after I called, but a bummer nonetheless.
I didn't like this pizza. I spent too much money to get a burnt and cold pizza. I ordered delivery and it arrived cold and burnt, and to top it off, way too spicy. How can my daughters eat that?
I'm a big fan of the pizza and a frequent Pepe's flyer in Stamford, but had a very bad experience last night with (non) delivery. They used Door Dash and the pizza never came. When it was 45 minutes late I called and they said Door Dash cancelled the order. What? They didn't reach out to tell me. They made no effort to make it right other than saying we could come get a fresh pizza, which would have been 90 minutes from the promised time. No offer of redelivery. No explanation.
