I'd been visiting this office for several years, but I believe I will try someone else next year. The cost of the exam more than doubled; I suppose it was because of the switch to TriaVision. Nothing new was done. Exam felt rushed and doctor was in a hurry. Vision insurance did not cover (out of network providet). Moving on.
Thorough, knowledgeable, accessible AND has a good reputation with surgeons and staff at UAB Callahan Eye Hospital. Dr. LaRussa worked me in for an appointment shortly after I called his staff. I told the staff I could wait because I probably just needed prescription drops to help get particles out of my eye. They suggested I come on in saying he would want to take a look.
