Waited 2 months for an appt, drove an hour to get there and I left my appointment feeling absolutely defeated and a little crazy. I’ve had GI issues for 30 years. He spent about 5 min with me. He didn’t ask my history. He palpated my abdomen three times and that was my physical exam. He noted that cutting out gluten and dairy was a very “trendy” thing these days, right after I told him cutting those out was one of the only things that gives me a little relief. I've never been called fat and stupid in one sentence by a doctor before. He was arrogant and down right uninformed. He didn't bother to read my chat before the appointment. He talked over me and almost yelled at me. I've had to file a complaint against him with the hospital. Don't see him for anything let alone anything complicated.
Do not recommend Dr. Martini unless you have a minor or simple medical need. He will not do any additional work to find out what's wrong after "the big tests" (celiac, MRI, colonoscopy and endoscopy). His colonoscopy and endoscopy notes and photos were sloppy at best. He does not schedule or recommend scheduling follow-ups with patients even after "the big tests". Patient was losing 10lbs a month unintentionally and he still refused to do more work up. I’ve been seeing Dr Martini for decades. He’s amazing. He knows his stuff. He’s straight to the point no BS. Some people might think he’s rushed but I appreciate his expediency. He is still very thorough and makes sure you are all good.
Dr Martini has been our family doctor for over 20 years. He is a tremendous doctor. The staff is outstanding very helpful, accommodating, compassionate and pleasant. Dr Martini is extremely knowledgeable in his area of expertise he provides great assistance, medical direction, and addresses the problem. His bedside manner is second to none for the patients. He is always on the top of his game. I have a great appreciation for Dr Martini and the associated doctors in that practice along with the tremendous staff!
