When Dad passed, I chose Frank E. Smith. We were impressed that’s why I’m writing this. I called around and I didn’t want a private equity corporate type funeral place where they truck your loved one off somewhere to be cremated and you never really know what’s going on. The funeral home came and picked up my person at home. Funeral home was called by the police not us. They had to take my person to Dayton. They called a few days later to ask how we wanted to proceed with arrangements. We politely told them that we are going to use other services. Knowing we are going through a loss they got nasty on the phone and just hung up on us. Thanks so much for empathy and care!

I was unable to travel to my mother's funeral and was able to attend the live streaming event. They didn't use a wide angle and it was difficult to hear. Not only that, as soon as the chaplain finished speaking, the video went dark. It was very short (12min) and the angle was difficult to see anything. There was a gravesite service and that was not streamed. There was no mention that there was a streaming service available on her obituary and the amount we had to pay for this kind of service was unfortunate.
