Our experience with George Barnes was extremely disappointing and upsetting. My boyfriend’s father had just lost his wife, and instead of showing compassion and understanding, George was incredibly rude and insensitive toward him and the rest of the family. I am extremely disappointed in the way George Barnes treated my wife’s family during an already incredibly difficult time. I have personally planned both of my parents’ funerals, and I understand how overwhelming the process can be. I have never felt more compelled to write a negative review about someone during one of the most painful moments my family has ever experienced. We were dealing with the death of my mother, and instead of receiving even the most basic compassion or empathy, we were met with an attitude that felt cold, dismissive, and profoundly insensitive.
