I had Rib Placement Surgery with Dr. Bauer May 2025! I had 3 Cracked Ribs in Oct 2024! They didn’t heal. I had one Appt. then Surgery. 5 Days in the Scottsdale Osborn Hospital. He Put 3 Titanium Plates to hold them. He’s Such a Great Surgeon! Now I can get back to my Life! So highly Skilled and Knowledgeable! Very Professional with a Personality! He did a Fantastic Job. in Jan 2025, Dr. Bauer repaired my epigastric (ventral) hernia located just above my belly button. My primary care doctor recommended him, and within a few weeks I had my first appointment. I usually spend days researching surgeons, and at first I wasn’t sure since Dr. Bauer is primarily a trauma surgeon and I knew some doctors focus exclusively on hernias. My husband was taken to Honor Health Osborn Medical Center as a trauma patient by Scottsdale Fire Department after falling off a ladder. The entire trauma team in the emergency room, doctors, nurses, radiology and lab, all took immediate care of him. He had crushed his right rib cage. Dr. Bauer was the trauma surgeon on call and performed Right Rib Plating on 5-6 broken ribs.
