Technician either lied to me in order to try to sell tyres or was not knowledgeable in the subject, either of which isn't good. This is going back quite a while. Edited from this point to reply to the response from the business: I took a vehicle in for a puncture repair or part worn (I don't remember which exactly) and the technician tried to sell me three more tyres as he said the tyres were "past their expiry date". I had two new tyres fitted yesterday. I have always gone to Bathers in the past. When the new tyres were fitted, they did not fit new valves, I had to ask to have the wheels balanced but this was not properly done. When the wheels were refitted to the car, they were not torqued down, I asked for 32 psi in each tyre but checking the pressures at my local garage they were 40 psi. Checking the wheel nuts, they were not tight. (Should have used a torque wrench) and even the old tyre valve inner valves were not tight. At £150 per... read more
