We lucked upon this lovely place when staying in a nearby hotel due to a canceled flight. I highly recommend the burrata appetizer; our other dishes were great too but came from the specials menu so you may not be able to get them consistently. Soft shell crabs, veal osso buco... but I think anything you get there will be fresh and of the highest quality. Good wine list too. If we ever find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will make a point of returning to Franina.
My husband and I went this evening with some friends to the restaurant for the second time, our food and the Service Was excellent. Joe Is an amazing host. We will definitely return and highly recommend this Restaurant.
We went for our anniversary dinner based on a family recommendation. The Veal Scaloppine was so tender and delicious. The Black Cod Special was fabulous. We also ordered the mixed seafood appetizer. We asked the waitress if there were any peppers in the dish. After checking with the chef in the kitchen, she assured us that the only peppers were garnish on the side of the plate. I just delivered flowers there I never ate there but this place is gorgeous
