Drivers beware: They make easy money off people who go into the parking garage by accident by offering no grace period and charging the highest rate possible. Once you go in, regardless of how much time you’ve been in there or circumstances, they charge you the full $8.95 with no grace period unlike every other parking garage. Customer service will deny any request for a refund. 1/10 would not recommend.
Gets crowded during weekdays, but convenient if you are heading to/from DC plus you have VRE connection. Avoid crosswalk as cars just run through stop signs and block lanes. There are no police to enforce traffic laws here. You will see fare evades and they will come up from behind you.
Great place to drive from southeastern VA to park and ride metro into city
I used to park here and take the train up to DC for the day. I used to get a $5 train pass just to go up to DC and ride on the train. Affordable and convenient. Wonder how much the day pass tickets are now?
