Great place to bring the family for outdoor fun and relaxation. Truly a make it how you like it place to be.
Franconia Rec Center has taken what used to be one of the best family activities on Saturday nights and made it far less welcoming. The new policy banning children under 5 from riding scooters makes little sense. The coordinator said they’re “accidents waiting to happen,” yet adults and older kids are allowed to skate at much higher speeds without issue. The reasoning feels inconsistent and unfair.
