I moved from Notre Dame Indiana to a rural city in AZ called Bullhead City. The cultural change was huge and very challenging including the liturgies. I then discovered The Franciscan Renewal Center. I made a retreat there in October 2017, witnessing the dedication of the new church. Then my sister was stuck with cancer in November. We rented a home in Gilbert, AZ so she could get her chemo and radiation at MD Anderson Banner. We lived there for two months, and I was able to get to mass every Sunday at the church. Beautiful facility. Attended Baptism. It was lovely. Father Peter delivered inspirational remarks. Those infants baptised receive a handmade blanket. What a nice gesture.
I attend mass here since 1992! Such a beautiful and tranquil place to open your heart and mind and to set free of any worries! When mass ends, I always leave with such a wonderful feeling!
