I went to the ER at this facility after a head injury from a fall. As part of the process, I was asked to remove my shirt and change into a gown. After several tests, I was transferred to another facility for additional care. Later, I contacted them to ask about my shirt and was told, “Oh, we throw any clothing away after the room is cleaned.” Seriously? That’s completely unacceptable. There was absolutely no reason my shirt should have been thrown away, especially without notifying me or giving me a chance to retrieve it. ... read more
