All billing and support has been outsourced to the Philippines. It is near impossible to get the help you want when you need to discuss your billing. Should be criminal! Edit: I understand the billing. It is wrong. Yet no one at the office can discuss billing and there is no American billing department. Only Filipinos.
Why is proper medical care dictated by your insurance company's willingness to pay?
We get good service once there, but I am giving them middling marks for extremely long times on-hold when you need to talk to an actual person. There are times when the automated system, leaving a voicemail or MyChart are not sufficient.
Called in January to schedule an appointment to establish care with a primary care physician, and the next available appointment was the end of September. My appointment was supposed to be in two weeks and I just received a call saying the day is no longer available and the next available appointment would be May 2026. I asked my daughter to schedule with Franciscan medical group on Kimball Drive as I had received excellent speciality services many years ago there. When my daughter informed me they had scheduled her 9 months for a new patient appointment, I was shocked. However, for Kimball Drive Franciscan Medical facility to reschedule my daughter today, after waiting nine months, to May 2026 is disgraceful.
