Dont waste your time. It's a band aid station at this point. You go to the emergency room, and 9 times out of 10 they just send you up to Franciscan in crown point anyways. Had a loved one that had a tear in her stomach, they said it was pretty bad,said she needed transfered to crown point. They took their sweet time with that (over an hour, why wouldn't they?) Went to crown point, they said it was even worse. Just save the gas and time, go to a different near by hospital

Having a very recent experience at the hospital, I’ve found that I must change my review. Previously, my experiences there were negative, but this visit changed everything I rushed my husband into the Franciscan Rensselaer ER with symptoms of a stroke; knowing the “golden hour” to receive a stroke injection was critical, I rushed hoping they could help. I rushed inside with my husband in a wheelchair and upon hearing the word possible ‘stroke’, the entire ER came alive. They called a “stroke team” and everyone got to work on... read more

If you are a Veteran, DO NOT let the VA or their affiliates (VES, etc) send you to this facility. I was sent to this facility in 2023 as part of my military disability claim (BDD) screening by VES on behalf of the VA, and payment for the screening was to be 100% handled between VES and Franciscan Health Rensselaer. This was not a typical medical visit where you pay whatever "insurance" does not cover, as these facilities and the VA/VES have agreements to cover veteran disability claim screenings, at no cost to the veteran.
