I received HORRENDOUS care in the Franciscan ER yesterday. In what turned out to be acute appendicitis, I presented in severe pain along with multiple bouts of vomiting. My day shift nurse TESSA was the most uncaring nurse I may have ever encountered. And I'm a nurse practitioner and nurse with 25 years' experience. She never once even offered a morsel of sympathy; didn't even ask how I was feeling!!!
