Gave false hope to my grandmother and didn’t act quickly in treating her. She died 9 months after being diagnosed with mds that turned into aml. I had an appointment for a look at a low WBC and the doctor came in and started talking about my low iron (that I don’t have). I told her my name and she said she was reading someone else’s chart on accident. I am grateful that I look at my own bloodwork. This could have been much worse had I not corrected her. My father-n- law see Dr Rashid and gets treated at the center. He is happy with care he receives and recommends the clinc and center to any cancer patient who wants one on one care. You are not just a number at the center they make you feel comfortable, motivate to continue fighting this battle.
The scheduling center's system is horrible! I've spent hours trying to schedule and appointment. I've opted to get a call back twice, yet the call never comes.
