The owner was very honest and explained to me that my white jacket with the mysterious stains was not salvageable. I will take my clothing there in the future. He was very polite to me and was sorry he couldn’t help me in this case.
Not the place for hat cleaning. 1st time customer. Mine were returned with pet hair (I have no pets) and hardly any difference, if any, from the "cleaning." Also, one hat was damaged, and all were wrinkly and misshapen. Hats could not be located upon pickup. Clerk had to call owner to locate, and then had to wait for them to be bagged. Upon receiving the hats, was told they "did their best" Not satisfied!
I’ve never had to dry clean clothes before but after noticing some stains on a secondhand silk dress I’d bought I took that, and two other dry clean only items to Francis Street Cleaners. Sadly two of the three items were returned damaged. My pants are missing their button and the stained area on the dress is now discolored and has a hole. Very disappointing. Two stars as the pants were nicely pressed and the third item was not damaged.
They do a good job with cleaning, repairs, and alterations at reasonable prices and have kind service to go with it!
Dropped off a suit to be dry cleaned for a wedding. Picked it up 4 days later covered in lint and hair and worse than when I dropped it off. Not even sure if it was cleaned. Terrible
