My son Zion was a new student @ Frances Scott Key Elementary school for 17/18 school year and I was nervous at first. I must say that this school is not what I initially expected. I can't stand this school...from the first day until now. Most of the staff is rude and aggravated at the fact your asking them questions. Had to switch my son's class on the first day. The lady at the front desk with the nappy wig is the rudest of them all...luckily she wasn't there today. So I go to the school to ask about the after school program held there...and no one had an answer or the information. Hooowww?? Why don't they have that type of information READY for the parents? I have to actually retract my statement that I made about this school... It was under the name Momma Stroman... Since the review was made the staff has changed dramatically and I do not think it was due to the review. This school has it's issues like any other school, but I truly think the staff do the best that they can to help and educate the children. They are faced with large classes and a wide range of children among all the cuts / policy changes that they have to adhere to due to the pg county school board.. I tip my h... read more
