I retained this law office through LegalShield and my experience was very disappointing, primarily due to billing transparency. I was not clearly informed when my retainer was close to being exhausted, and the LegalShield discount was not clearly shown or explained in the invoices. Francis Law in Calgary was completely disorganized. My ex-wife was tossed around to different lawyers, and even her divorce paperwork was filed incorrectly. We’ve been separated for well over six years, and it’s only after she switched firms about a year ago that things finally started moving. They treated her like a number instead of a client. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
If I could go beyond 5 stars, I would. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Francis and his team for a year and a half and can attest that they operate with the highest of ethics.
