Don't Bother - You'll Be Disappointed Have been visiting Francis Farm for over 40 years and currently live right down the street. I can't believe how far downhill they've gone. We just had literally the worst meal ever. Can you believe, the chowder they're famous for is now reduced to a grey broth with a few potatoes and no clam flavor what-so-ever, not even edible, cardboard clamcakes with no trace of clams. 1960's Hippie I worked at Francis Farm during high school in the 60's, it was a family affair. Everyone worked hard to provide the best bake in New England. After work, the employees would gather up , enjoy a delicious feast then play basketball, soccer, or just sit by the fire. I went back a few years ago, and things were still very much the same. Down home country life with a few clams thrown in to make your mouth water.
