Dr. Arena has been my superstar oncologist for over a year now. He and his all star league staff from reception, administrative, nurses and phlebotomists… I know that when I am going to them I’m in good hands. They treat you with compassion, kindness, respect and professionalism. Ever take a big gulp of cold water on a hot day and just go …..ahhh? Well that’s what it’s like going to either of his offices. As my Mother's caretaker, Dr. Arena did his best to gently explain things to Mom, but made very sure I knew exactly what what to do, what was happening and what to expect. His empathy and pragmatism are a source of strength as we continue this journey.
Clearly a brilliant doctor. Additionally Dr Arena has a staff of NPs that are way above average. They are caring, through, and very professional. Godforbid you are in need of a doctor to set up a plan of care for you, dont hesitate to contact his office. They have a way of making you feel safe and cared for during a very scary time. Sometimes you'll have to wait a while to see him, but don't let that discourage you. You'll be in excellent, caring and compassionate hands.
