Disappointing does not begin to describe my experience with this place this week. I came here for a great meal 3 years ago, and this time I again researched extensively to find opening times, etc. over the past month, and even checked a few days ago, with a review from 3 weeks ago to increase my confidence in accuracy. Yet, I ride my bike over 150 km to end up at the pub (and town) on Sunday for tea - in the middle of no-where mind you - only to find an empty building (closed down?), with no indication of what was going on o... read more

Stopped in for a cold drink on a hot day. Nice publican. Always welcoming.
Did an overnight trip with a mate to this hidden gem of a hotel.. It was a Monday with it being the only night they don't have a chef - yet the staff arranged to make sure we had a meal each going above and beyond in helpful service. The hotel itself is clean and friendly.. management and staff a big thank you for giving us a relaxing enjoyable night .. will definitely be going back 🍻🍻
