I’ve gone here a few times to get my birth control prescription renewed and have never had a problem. The last time I went in I decided to get my yearly testing done due to not being able to get in with my primary. Pro tip: DO NOT get your blood drawn here. One of the younger girls working here drew mine and she didn’t seem to get the vein and when she finally did she did everything painfully slowly/and pressed waaay too hard. Cool staff just don’t bother getting any blood tests, you’re better off at urgent care or the ER.
I’ve had a great experience with Fpa women’s health for several yrs now. I have been to Canoga park, Oxnard, & mission hills. Everyone is kind, knowledgeable, & informative. They make you feel cared for. They except different insurances & medi-cal.
I had a telehealth appt. and had a misunderstanding with medication being sent out yesterday. I reached out to my local group and was advised to call Oxnard because that is who I had my appt with although I am an established patient locally. All I have to say is that I couldn't be any happier with the care & efficiency that I was given by Myra N.P. & Christian! Thanks FPA & Oxnard employees! You guys are the best!
