People inside building are nice but heaven help you if you have to the lumber part. They won't help you and if you finally fine someone they are rude and they think you've punched them in gut if you need help
Not the worst hardware I've ever been but certainly not the best. Very officiuos and bureaucratic. Not particularly friendly. I've only been there three times so I may be missing something. And it is Ruidoso where prices and service don't seem to be up to a normal standard. Also not an easy place to get in and out of.onto the road. I particularly don't care for the guy that works at the gate controlling who gets materials..The least friendly of the unfriendly people.
