Have lived here three years and been amazed at the changes effected by a small, dedicated group of individuals who are committed to making the community better. The POA office and board have been nothing but helpful as we transformed our little lake cabin into a full-time home. There are dozens of volunteers working to beautify and add amenities. I have owned two properties in Foxwood Hills Hatteras 1 for nearly 6 years now and have invested a lot of time and money making these properties look fantastic and possible for full time living. I just purchased a third property. Although there is a dispute going on concerning fair POA dues between the members and the POA Board, I am paying half of what I did renting a lot in Ohio on Berlin Lake with the only amentity being a small swimming pool.
