I attended my COSBY fam reunion this past July 5, 2025. I want to give at least 1 star but due to the fact of the staff and owner serving food to their own staff members and saw that they wasn’t supposed to even be eating the PAID FOR FOOD ,that was being catered by them ..then didn’t even correct their staff for entering line in front of elderly people and children and eating on the dime of all whom has paid fees for this event.. that wasn’t right!! The Foxfire Ranch is a beautiful location with great outdoor scenery. For those who love and outdoor location this a place for you. However as well planned out as we could be, we experienced many tangible and intangible issues. Planning: We started planning our reunion in the fall of 2024. I found some of the staff were not professional. Reptile were noticeable, food was served cold, no speakers were available for the reunion speakers on the inside of the facility . Very hard to get in touch with personal who was in charge of handling the rental of the cabins finally, staff was harboring food after the event.
This is an astonishingly BEAUTIFUL venue location for any event. However, customer service was absolutely TERRIBLE. I recently had a family reunion there over the 4th of July weekend (which had been well communicated and preplanned several months ahead of time). Once the date was finalized we chose them for catering our event and it took a couple of months for the representative to get back with me about a catering quote, and I was reaching out regularly. While the ranch itself is absolutely beautiful, unfortunately, our overall experience during our family reunion was extremely disappointing due to the poor customer service we received. From the start, communication with the venue was a challenge. On the day of our event, temperatures reached 100 degrees, and we kindly requested to move our gathering indoors for the safety of our elderly relatives and those with underlying health conditions.
