The company accepts insurance contracts and when the insurance company takes their discounts they have you sign a waiver saying you will pay what the insurance doesn't and they bill you the discounted rate and when you question the bill they say they don't have to accept the discount from the insurance company because if they did they would have to close their door. Very bad practice
I've gone here twice now for a chronic throat problem I've been having. The first time going, the physician said that I might have GERD, had me take a PPS for a month to no avail. I tried going a second time, and the same physician prescribed generic antibiotics without even testing if I had a bacterial infection or not (also to no avail). Had I known at the time that you are supposed to test for it beforehand, I would have called it out to him, but instead I had to suffer for 2 weeks for no good reason. Worse experience ever! Dr. Lochmueller was the rudest Dr. I've ever met. He came into the room and immediately looked annoyed that I was there. He rudely asked what I was there for. Then took less than 30 seconds to try to figure out what was wrong. I asked questions and he gave sarcastic answers. He quickly dismissed what his own audiologist had to say about my possible issue. Recently I visited the hospital for my ear sound checkup, unfortunately the service and medication doesn't help and they charged huge amount. Apart from that they won't spend more than a minute to check the problem. The given medication doesn't work for me and called for them for alternative medication but no response from them but asking me to come and pay for follow-up visit to see. I located Joe Pacer through a browser search of audiologists near me. After meeting with Joe we determined what I needed in a new hearing aid.
