Three stars might seem harsh. F&K was good. Not great, in our opinion. We had the focaccia, salads, burrata, chicken, pork. The chicken was very good. Everything else was fine. Lots of people love it, but that could be herd mentality. Again, definitely good. Not great.
Absolutely amazing from start to finish. It is obvious why they have won so many prestigious awards. The food and service were both beyond exceptional. We went for my birthday and every staff member we interacted with wished me a happy birthday quietly and respectfully (no crazy embarrassing singing the whole restaurant could hear). We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Fox & The Knife. We visited on a Friday and the place was packed, so reservations are definitely recommended. For the quality of the food, we thought the prices were incredibly fair, and when you factor in the location, it's a real winner. Went to an early dinner with our family - we loved it! Very nice restaurant and great ambiance. Our server walked us through the menu and coursed out our food. We ordered the house made ricotta, focaccia, broccoli caesar, carne cruda crostini, tagliatelle bolognese, and pepe e cacio and enjoyed everything we got! We had been wanting to try one of Karen's restaurants for years and we're glad that we did!
