If your friend recommends Walter Shjeflo, then end the friendship. Walter Shjeflo is why I hate lawyers and I am a loving person. He is a horrible person. I have seriously considered retaining another lawyer to sue Walter's firm for billing discrepancies. He continually suggested we continue to go to battle over an estate issue when he knew we did not have a chance to win...he just wanted to charge us several hours of his $350/hr rate.
