Hidden gem in middle of nowhere. Glad I stopped over at Fowlers Bay.
Excellent place to stay in a beautiful location. The cabin was very comfortable and well maintained. The woman on the front counter was also very pleasant.
Fowlers Bay is an awesome place for fishing and getting peace rehabilitation. Staff are excellent to deal with and very helpful. I have been here numerous times and never been disapointed. So many things to do as well as connecting with the nature and Scots Beach never dissapoints. Caught some serious trophy fish and looking forward to my next visit.
Terrible service - had to cancel my booking due to family illness with 13 days notice and they didn't even offer a partial refund on the expensive ocean view room (because cancelling within 14 days forfeits the entire cost apparently). They will likely now just rebook it, making double the money on the room! So greedy. Would recommend just not calling them if you need to cancel the room within that timeframe as it makes no difference to you!
