Great food This is a wonderful little place. It is like being in Greece without having to pay for air fare. Shirley greets you at the door and it is like you have known her forever. The food is great and authentic. Call for reservations as there are only two seatings on the nights they are open, usually Thur.-Sat.
The food! OMG! Chef Ivan Flowers took over Fournos Restaurant last year and have things changed! We were thrilled with our recent dinner. From the bistro atmosphere to the boutique wine list and friendly service. But the real star? The food! OMG! Chef Flowers personally prepares every dish...We started with the lobster bisque, creamy, balanced and sinful. I had the Mahi Mahi and he had the Chicken Parmesan. Both were incredible. Don't miss this place! Can see why it was just named a top 25 restaurant in AZ by AZ Highways Mag... read more
The restaurant is small but very nice. For the space, the music was loud which was a big distraction from any conversation. The meal was average (aso boco) and the service was horrible. The waitress was mad at the world. No smile, short with answers, and almost dropped the plate in front of you. Serving the wine, well, she thought it was water. Open bottle, pour 4 glasses equally and pass them around. Hey, what happened to tasting the wine before you pour it? There are much better restaurants in Sedona!!! Look for them.
I have had the opportunity to sample Ivan Flower's Culinary creations on a couple of occasions and they all have one thing in common...they are truly outstanding. The Diver Scallops, the Kurobuta Pork Belly, the homemade Mozzarella, the homemade Pesto, his Lobster Bisque, Kurobuta Osso Bucco, Lobster Ravioli, Lamb Chops in wine reduction were all exceptional. I drive 60 miles just to eat here. The wine list is limited and decent but I am not there for the wine. Ivan is perhaps the best Chef in Arizona and you can read about ... read more

If in Sedona...Eat Here! – Chef Ivan Flowers took Fournos over last December & his delicious Italian-Mediterranean food has made this a destination restaurant! You start with a to die for Parmesan pesto dipping sauce and warm bread & it gets better from there... Have to eat the fresh-pulled mozzarella to start! I had the sicilian sausage with peppers in a housemade marinara. My friend ate the rack of lamb. Dinner was silent...We were too busy eating to talk! Had a great cabernet off the boutique wine list. Finished with home... read more
Chef Ivan Flowers recently took over restaurant and creates simply fabulous dishes. No longer Greek, more Meditterranean-Italian. You start with this great parmesan-pesto dipping sauce and it just gets better from there. I had a special of cioppino & my friend had the rack of lamb. My cioppino had mussels, clams, shrimp & sea bass. All in a delicious tomato/lemon sauce. My friend's rack of lamb was perfectly cooked and came with this warm artichoke, potato thing that was to die for. We shared a bottle of grenache wine that w... read more
