RecommendedLove the bags I purchased when I was visiting in Astoria. Much nicer than cheap grocery bags and a great conversation starter when people ask where I purchased them. The re-purposed sail bags are a great, waterproof bag to hold maps and hiking guidebooks in our truck. I purchased several bags for Christmas presents, but Christmas is a long time off, and they might all end up being mine!
I love the concept of repurposing and Susan transforms old sails into sturdy bags with class and character. Kurt and Susan are welcoming. Warm and funny. They love their work. They have that oh so Astorian spirit of entrepreneurship that delights.
