Napa Valley wine dinner a home run! Just got back from a wonderful meal at Four Winds Cafe. Chef Steve hit another one out of the park tonight with his Napa Valley wine dinner! First course: Cedar smoked short ribs (O.M.G!) on tossed wild greens with avocado vinaigrette. Wine pairing: '11 Banshee Pinot Noir. Four Winds Cafe This is a delightful restaurant for lunch or dinner. Every day has a different special for lunch and it is very reasonable. Dinner is a little expensive but the portions are huge!
Great for lunch! Four Winds is an incredible restaurant. It's a far cry from the truck stop that it used to be. The new owners have transformed this small restaurant into a delicious gourmet eatery. They have a different special everyday at lunch. It's always a huge plate of food for a small price. Haven't tried dinner yet - heard it was a bit pricey.
Great place! Four winds combines great food, with servers who treat you like family. The atmosphere is wonderful, during breakfast and lunch its great food ( and more than enough of it) at a great price in a laid back setting. Then, at dinner, you find a romantic restaurant fit for the stars. This place is worth the drive for the gourmet food at a low price.
Unique and quaint Four Winds is just the opposite of what was a small truck stop serving breakfast and lunch years ago. The owner invisioned a dream to move from the rat race of New York to a small country town and take his chief abilities to not only transform his life but a run down truck stop. Four Winds with it's white linen tables and fine wine serves a variety of fresh foods that are prepared as ordered.
