I booked room for 2 nights from Aug 30th and I was call by the hotel @4pm asking if I am coming & I confirmed that I am on the way from Canada and I will be coming for sure. But they gave my room to someone else when I reached the hotel. The worst part is the receptionist was so rude and asked me to sleep on the lobby couch instead of try to find a room in another hotel. This is my 1st experience like this in my 25yrs of traveling. How can Sheraton give my room away when I paid for it?

I booked room for 2 nights for Aug 30th & 31st. I was on my way to Chicago from Toronto and I received a call from the Hotel around 4pm on 30th asking if I am coming? I confirmed that I am on my way and I will be coming late. When I arrived at the hotel by 3am , My room which I paid already was sold to someone else by the hotel. Stayed for 2 nights. Overall, an average experience. No complimentary breakfast, and the rooms and lobby weren’t very clean. We were told rooms are only cleaned every other day, and the service could be better.
