I hired 401 Electric to complete a project, and while the workmanship was acceptable and the job was done correctly, I am extremely disappointed with their honesty and integrity. They initially denied using or taking any materials that were left on-site for the job. Despite repeated inquiries, they continued to deny any involvement until we mentioned our security cameras. I am posting for my Mum, who had an excellent experience with 401 Electric today. She called about a minor generator problem to at least three contractors, which only one actually answered their phone; and that was the folks at 401 Electric. They did a house-call to her home, and fixed her generator problem in less than 15 minutes with a new 120V socket. First class service IMHO. Highly Recommended, not just on their skills, but also their customer service and kindness to Senior Citizens.
We purchased an EV on Tuesday April 8 and contacted 401 Electric that day to get a quote on installing an EV charger. They were hoping to have one installed by Friday April 11 when we picked up the car, but they only provided the quote on this day. The quote did not mention the model of EV charger, length of wire needed, or number of hours of labour … just a total dollar amount.
