The shop asked for a list of parts in the new motor prior to providing a quote, then never responded with a quote or response of any kind. The Engine on question was built by k and s machine so it's a quality build.
I did some research looking for some specialty shops that work on Subaru’s and many people recommended Four Function Autosport. I was not disappointed, from beginning to end they were honest, forthright, and actually came under their original estimation. I am new to the Okanagan and was worried about going to the dealer for obvious reasons, the Subaru dealers up here are complete scam artists giving me wishy washy quotes leaving lots of opportunity and room to run the bill up on me. this winter i brought my 02 wrx to four function due to it having no compression in one cylinder. i brought it here a couple days later after i did my own compression test and they diagnosed it and found out it was more than one cylinder that was having some issues. upon further investigation it turned out to be my valves! i gave them the go to fix the issues on it. once everything was fixed the engine was put together in less two days. i really appreciate that four function always kept me up to date with everything going on... read more
