My doctor at home (I'm from Canada) wanted me to have some very specific blood testing done while here in FL. She provided the specific test information. . The doctor at this clinic charged me $200 to write the requisition for the lab work. He also told me it would be $150 to get the results. When I got to the lab he had ordered over $600 in tests beyond what my doctor wanted.
I went in for a yearly physical which is covered 100% by my insurance (I get a wellness bonus from work for getting a physical as well). He gave me a paper for blood work and charged me $100 for the appointment despite me contesting it saying because i had a health concern at that time (i had been having migraines and he prescribed me a muscle relaxer). If I could give less than one star I would. This doctor not only overcharged my for an annual physical that was covered by insurance. He refused to reimburse the overcharge for 12 weeks and ARGUES WITH ME about the claim, refused to give any claim information submitted, refused to listen any questions and after it all refused to honor my request to pick up the check in person. If I were dying and he were the only doctor around for miles. I would rather die.
First of all, do not put your health in this man’s hands! He is nothing but a pill pusher, he follows other doctors by just refilling bottles. He will screw you before you even get in the back with your co pay. He is beyond rude, won’t work with you. He took my mothers blood sugar and diagnosed her with diabetes without getting her A1C.
