J is an amazingat what he does. He knows beer and the 4 boars is amazing.
It was just ok. We got there about 15 minutes after they opened and the tables had not been cleaned from the previous night. There were flies everywhere. The pretzel bites were overcooked and dried out. The cheese dip for them was watery. The waitress dropped my wrap on the table and expected me to still eat it (she was surprised when I requested a fresh one). This food was really good and Sonnie, our server, was friendly and helpful. The schnitzel and mushroom gravy with a side of red cabbage is a winner. We also tried the potato, cheddar and chive pierogies and the german potato salad. The mashed potatoes tasted like heaven. I am sure we will be back for some of the live music, game night or maybe even karaoke. The Beir Garten looks like fun. Can't wait for Oktoberfest!
