There is not enough words to describe how incredible Fountain Tire Merritt is. My car started smoking on the Coquihalla, I was able to limp it into Merritt and pull over where the frantic calls of trying to get into a shop started. I called every single possible place in Merritt and not one person would help us out. While passing through Merritt on a Sunday evening, my husband and I found ourselves stranded with a punctured tire. To make matters worse, we discovered that the locking lug nut key hadn’t been returned after our last dealership visit, making it impossible to install the spare. After calling around with no luck, we found Fountain Tire's after-hours number. Within 20 minutes, the owner himself arrived. Sometimes when you most need a friend one comes along. Like so many people I passed going up the Coquihalla Highway from Hope over the years I always felt bad for the guys stuck on the side of the highway, but my number came up and I was at the side of the road asking what happened.
