Fountain Diner is a great overall restaurant. Food always comes out fresh and hot. I had a turkey club with fries. Large portions and great bread basket including corn bread.
I will never eat here again because the management is awful and couldn't care less about the quality and safety of their food. I ordered scrambled eggs and they tasted very bad, like rotten. The manager said "I tasted them they are fine" with an attitude like you-are-a-pain-in-the-ass. I insisted the were bad and she fought with me about it. Eventually she had the chef make another batch but they tasted the same...bad! I've been a long time customer here (since the 80s) and the eggs have always been good so I knew these eggs... read more
We were in the area for a wedding. My daughter has celiac so we looked for a restaurant that accommodates . She was very happy to order the gluten free pancakes and waffles. The service was great and the people were friendly. We went back twice in the short time we were there!
A nice clean friendly diner with plenty to eat, nice atmosphere, big parking lot on Central Ave. A must stop if you're hungry...
