SCAM ALERT!!! DOESN'T REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT!!! Was considering a property. Three weeks prior to signing the contract was asked to send 150 pounds as a preliminary deposit for the room. In the invoice, it clearly said the money is refunded only in case I decide not to proceed with the contract. Over the phone, Andrzej also assured me the money will be refunded if I decide not to sign the contract. We have rented in East London from FoL and they have been nothing but professional all throughout. During the tenancy, we had stellar communications and a very pleasant experience, despite the obvious limitations that the pandemic might have caused. The agency is always helpful and any issues have been resolved promptly and swiftly. Highly recommended!
I had a terrible experience with Founder of London, please try your best to avoid unprofessional agent behaviour. The agent I was dealing with was rude, bad at communication and very judgemental. I tried to arrange viewing for two of the properties they represent, I had to call multiple time to chase up the agent in the beginning.
