I paid tuition to attend a Social Security Seminar conducted by Derek Barmore of the Founder's Group which they advertised as "Social Security experts". I had a simple Social Security question, "Does Court ordered Permanent Legal Guardianship for a four (4) year old grandchild qualify the child for Social Security benefits on my earnings record?" I attended three workshops offered by the Founders Group staff. I found their training manuals and work books immensely informative and relatively easy to follow. They were able to answer my questions about retirement, especially social security, taxes, and basic planning. I would highly recommend this group.
